BC Chamber of Commerce Statement on Budget 2024

Last week in Victoria, representatives from the BC Chamber of Commerce attended the Ministry of Finance’s budget lock-up to get an early glimpse at Budget 2024. While government unveiled positive changes to the Employer Health Tax and are providing a one-time rebate on electricity bills to benefit BC businesses, the continued deficit spending and rapidly increasing debt over the fiscal plan causes the BC Chamber of Commerce some concerns. Read the full statement on Budget 2024 from Fiona Famulak, President and CEO, .
