BC Chamber of Commerce Statement on Budget 2024
Last week in Victoria, representatives from the BC Chamber of Commerce attended the Ministry of Finance’s budget lock-up to get an early glimpse at Budget 2024. While government unveiled positive changes to the Employer Health Tax and are providing a one-time rebate on electricity bills to benefit BC businesses, the continued deficit spending and rapidly increasing debt over the fiscal plan causes the BC Chamber of Commerce some concerns.
